Once again, North Texas was pounded by damaging hail as spring storms rumbled across the region early Monday evening. Quarter-sized to softball-sized hail was reported as the storm moved southeast from Montague County and in to Collin and Rockwall counties, said meteorologist Lamont Bain with the National Weather Service. The weather service classifies softball-sized hail as 4.5 inches.
NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) – A line of storms extending from Bonham to Stephenville came through North Texas Wednesday night but only the portion from Granbury to Lewisville was severe.
